I’ve always tried to help out colleagues in their career journeys by writing recommendations on LinkedIn when I feel it’s warranted. I sometimes ask for recommendations from others as well as I really do think it’s helpful over time and provides a nice “kudos book” to reflect on when you’re having a bad day. I never expected to receive something like this though:
Jeremy is the team member you want to clone; he’s the one I throw things to, without looking, because I know that not only will he catch it – he will transform it, automate it, document it and dashboard it! Jeremy has never met a challenge he didn’t dominate. His work ethic and thoughtful, human-centered solutioning makes him highly sought after. He is an inclusive leader who always puts his team and stakeholders’ needs before his own.
I’ve seen Jeremy step into the Portfolio Operations leader role and add immediate value creating guides, one-pagers, migration plans, templates and training content to bring everyone along. His impact is felt throughout the Customer Experience organization, as he rolls up his sleeves to partner and co-create, always seeking win-win scenarios for all.
Jeremy doesn’t stop there, that would be too easy! He takes on stretch assignments as an Inclusion & Collaboration prime to help leaders build more diverse teams. He volunteers for Executive Shadow programs and mentoring opportunities to grow and pull others up with him.
I’ve hired Jeremy three times and would hire him 10 more times. If you ever have the opportunity, I strongly recommend you jump at it. Thank me, later 😉
